  • Day 3:Tarangire to Serengeti via Masai village & Olduvai Gorge discoveries

    After Breakfast head towards the Serengeti National Park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge

    Travel time: 5 ½ hours

    After Breakfast head towards the Serengeti National Park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the famous 'Nutcracker Man" and 'Handy Man', both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.

    Optional you also have the possibility of visiting a Masai village. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We do a late game drive en route to the Eco-Friendly Bush Camp for overnight stay.

    After breakfast check out from your lodge or Bush Camp, then morning game drive in Serengeti with picnic lunches head off via Simba Kopjes, Naabi Hill Gate to drive towards Ngorongoro, proceed to the crater rim to enjoy stupendous view of crater from the top. We will stop on the crater rim to enjoy one of the most memorable picnic lunches in your life then heading to the lodge for overnight stay.

  • Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservations Area

    After Breakfast head to the heart of Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest calderas in the world, which contains a variety of ecosystems and an astounding concentration of birds and animals. Encounter massive herds of zebra, wildebeest, and gazelles. This area affords an opportunity to spot the Big Five, which includes African elephant, leopard, lion, buffalo, and the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and then evening drive back to Arusha City for overnight stay.
